WCE ACM Student Chapter was formed to introduce students to an educational & scientific Association and develop the habbit of professional growth achieved through participation in local chapters. WCE ACM Student Chapter is a group of ignited minds boosted by the technology & computer science who have come together to contribute towards the development of computer community.
WCE ACM Student chapter was formed by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, WCE Sangli. The chapter mainly consists of students from UG & PG with Computer Science / IT as major. The chapter officially represents the ACM & ACM India in the Sangli-Kolhapur region. We are the only ACM Student Chapter formed in the western Maharashtra.
- Provide Students opportunities for the intellectual growth. (Using panels, papers, discussions, etc.)
- Provide professional contacts to our students of the distinguished computer experts.
- Foster collaboration with professionals to provide learning opportunities.
- Provide research guidance to our students.
- Provide leadership opportunities to facilitate leadership capabilities and growth.
- Make students aware of the ethical standards and practices in the IT industry.
- Organize alumni meets to facilitate guidance to the students about current trends in the industry.
- Organize social activities for solving social issues and spreading IT awareness among the society.
WCE ACM Student Chapter offers a strong platform for the students who wish to make a promising career in the computer science & IT industry. Our chapter offers everyday learning opportunities that allows the members to learn & grow in their areas of interest.
